When my son Tommy died, he took a part of me with him when he left. That's why so many of my poems are about loss and the hard times we all experience.

I write about what it's like for us, what's been done to us, what we do to each other, and what we just think sometimes. The poems about me are not always about me, and they don't always reflect my personal beliefs. They are about us. I also throw in some humor here and there just to lighten-up the mood a bit. To me, my poems are very short stories. Perhaps you'll find your own stories in my books.
